Julia Douglas is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with a master’s degree in Spiritual Care and Psychotherapy from Laurier. In Ontario, Julia provides online therapy to individuals from all walks of life experiencing anxiety, depression, OCD, interpersonal conflicts, life transitions, spiritual struggles, existential concerns, and identity difficulties.

To her, the therapeutic relationship itself is a powerful and sacred tool for healing. She believes that authentic human connection, combined with each person’s inherent capacity for growth and transformation, can help heal even the deepest wounds of the soul. Because of this, Julia’s work is grounded in creating a safe, compassionate space where you can explore your inner world, reconnect with your strengths, and move toward greater wholeness.

In addition, Julia brings experience working with elders who were experiencing grief and loss, meaninglessness, life transitions, and loneliness, as well as with youth through equine-assisted learning, aiming to build various life skills.

Shadi Pourafzal

Registered Psychotherapist

Shadi has worked with individuals, families, and groups in a variety of capacities. Her expertise is in working with clients with anxiety, depression, history of abuse, PTSD, trauma, relationship issues, transitions, grief, parenting, and children’s mental health. She has training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, DBT, trauma-informed counselling, Solution-focused therapy, Emotional Focused Therapy and Internal Family System therapy. Shadi specializes in working with couples and is trained in Imago therapy.
Shadi is passionate about guiding her clients towards finding their inner potential and addressing the challenges they are currently experiencing.

Ameneh Samareh Mirahmadi

Registered Psychotherapist

Ameneh Samareh Mirahmadi is a registered psychotherapist, a member of CRPO; her registration number is 11617. She has completed her master’s degree from Yorkville University and holds an Honors Bachelor of Child Development from Seneca College. She integrates various therapeutic approaches such as cognitive behavioural therapy, art therapy, and play therapy. She supports children, youth, and families facing cognitive, social, emotional, and behavioural challenges. Samareh has extensive experience working with children with Autism using ABA (Applied Behaviour Analysis) Early intervention, Behavioural management therapy and RBT (registered behavioural technique). She is CPI trained and knows how to engage in Nonviolent Crisis Intervention. Samareh brings her 10+ years of education in child development, her 25+ years of experience working with children in their early years, and her master’s degree in counselling psychology to our practice. She looks forward to providing one-on-one and group support to children, youth, and families through a multitude of therapeutic modalities and parental coaching. She provides therapy in English and Farsi/Persian.

Maddie (Matin) Motamed

Maddie (Matin) is a Registered Psychotherapist in Ontario with a Master’s Degree in Counselling Psychology (MACP). Maddie provides online therapy in Ontario, specializing in supporting adolescents and adults dealing with anxiety, depression, and trauma, including Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). Matin is skilled in helping clients through stress and trauma counselling, offering tailored approaches for personality disorders, distress, and anger management. She also provides compassionate care for those seeking holistic therapy in Ontario or support for managing life’s challenges.
